An artistic research project on which the choreographer has been working since March 2020, i.e. from the announcement of the lockdown. She undertakes activities based on the analysis of virtual reality (VR) observing that VR’s community, by gathering collectively, replaces the physical proximity of bodies with a virtual body. During her lecture performance, Szostak will log into Future Presence with her virtual identity to guide viewers around the world she has designed. She will unveil her post-human body, this time embodying the spiritual patron of 19th C/U Festival – Isadora Duncan. The premiere of Future Presence is due in 2021.
