The real meets the unreal. “Drama” is a walk into the dark side of romanticism, a dive into a gloomy forest full of phantasms and fog. Inspired by the first romantic ballet “The Sylph”, Paweł Sakowicz, in a duo with Karolina Kraczkowska, explores the real and unreal, own, and appropriated, physical and unphysical employing dance and two bodies. What is romanticism today? What happens to us when we abandon sensibility and belief in material reality to set off on a journey into the darkness?
