The spiritual guide of this year?s edition is Isadora Duncan (1877-1927), ?the mother of modern dance?. The presented cycle will consist of the following works in the form of audio dramas, available online, prepared by the invited female artists, both practitioners and theoreticians of dance. In their texts they view the phenomenon and artistic output of Duncan from different perspectives, exploring various social and cultural subjects initiated by the legendary choreographer, with one of them entering into a contemporary dialogue with the artist. The C/U e-Stage will comprise screenings of films about Isadora, while the social media channels of the C/U Festival will include short texts, interesting facts, mottos, fragments of books and subjects referring to Duncan?s lifestyle ? ranging from the automotive industry, ecology, revolutionary and political gestures to her influence on other artists.
